SniperScope is a Shotcut Video Filter that simulates a sniper (telescopic) scope. By opting to omit the cross-hairs and setting the thickess to zero (or very thin) it can simulate a simple lens. To simulate binoculars, place two "sniper-scopes" side by side. Relevant parameters can be key-framed (see the screenshot below).

Y-pos | The position of the scope along the Y-axis. |
Diameter | The diameter of the scope relative to the height of the clip to which the filter is applied. |
Magnification | The magnification of the scope 0 = minimum 1 = maximum |
Thickness | The thickness of the scope relative to its diameter. |
Color | The color of the scope. |
Reticule color | The color of the scope's reticule (the very fine wires in the cross-hairs). |
Cross-hairs | A checkbox true = show cross-hairs false = omit cross-hairs |
Scope-only | A checkbox true = outside the scope is displayed black false = anything outside the scope is displayed as normal |
