Transform Handicap Info from the CGF/Datagolf Website into more Structured Data
- Copy the Handicap data from
by doing the following:
- (If you get the error message "An error occured while communicating to the server", just click on "Close")
- At the bottom of the DataGolf webpage choose "Row count" 250
- Under "Press for more search options", choose all Minthis Handicaps (MHGC) and click on "Search".
- Copy from "HANDICAPS LISTING" to the last member's details.
- Paste the data into the left-hand box on this app and then click on the "Transform" button.
- Keep the options as Name: First-name Last-name and Sort: Name
- If you just want to generate a "Genders.txt" file click the radio-button.
- Select the text in the right-hand box and copy it into a Notepad++ editor file."
- Save the file in the relevant folder with the relevant name e.g. HCP_2020-07-04.txt
